Read Hook and Sinker's
review of the Gulf 5000

Read the Gulf Series Review
I love these Red Dot Reels. I rigged them up on Pflueger Trion IM-8 Rods, with 15 lb Ande
mono. They are very nice. They are as smooth as any reel on the market and I
would say they compare with some of the FIN-NOR and Shimmano's
that are priced several times higher. Next time you come to
Hattiesburg, lunch is on me."

"Hi,
I just want to drop you
a quick note about the Gulf Series 6000 reel I ordered and received. I was
hoping for a nice reel but what I got was an exceptional reel.
The detail of the
reel and the smooth cranking action was more than I had hoped for. I
showed it to my fishing buddy, and he's thinking he better get
himself a couple reels before the price goes up.
I don't know if its possible, but I'd like to be put on a mailing list to
let me know when your 2 speed reel is available.
Looking forward to
putting the reel through its pace's this season.

"P.s.
I have never had a company send out so many follow up emails to any
online order I have ever placed. Your customer service dept. is to be
commended too."
"I purchased one of your Gulf series reels
Friday after talking with a company representative at Roussell's
in LaPlace,
Louisiana. I usually
fish with Fin-Nor reels but must say I was quite
impressed with the way it performed for me Saturday. My third cast
with it netted me a 4lb 6oz speck on a Top Dog Jr. About 10 casts
later I was landing a 30" Red. The reel was extremely smooth
and the drag worked perfect. It easily rivals my Fin-Nors."

Formed in 2002, Red
Dot Reels is a division of Red Dot Industries. Our corporate offices are
located in New Orleans, Louisiana, home to Mardi Gras, speckled trout, red
fish, bass, flounder. . . bass fishing's biggest event, the Classic, Redfishing Tournaments and, the "Big Easy"
never needs an excuse to have a party. We fish year round. If it's too
cold, we'll duck or geese hunt but you can bet that we always have a few
rods in our boats.
Red Dot Reels was started by fisherman and fishing
guides so that we (everyone at Red Dot is a fisherman) could have products
that we liked, that were durable and mostly, inexpensive. We worked for a
long time designing, changing color schemes, making alterations, listening
to our guides. When we were happy with what we saw, we gave it to our
engineers so that they could find new ways to manufacture what we had
conceived. Our factory was tooled and made ready for production. We tried.
We re-tooled and started over again. We continued doing this until our
manufacturing process became so efficient, that it could only do one thing.
BRING COST WAY
DOWN!
We wanted very smooth reels and our spinning reels
have 11 bearings. We wanted reels with endurance and dependability and
that's what our engineers gave us. Our products are made of space age,
light weight, highly durable and strong materials. Our products are
"ultra coated" for corrosion resistance. Our products are
lubricated with the best marine anti-corrosion lubricants. We use aircraft
quality aluminum where needed for strength, and to reduce weight. We use
other light weight, high strength, impact resistant materials where other
manufacturers don't. Ultimately, we succeeded in doing what we set out to
do! Design products that we liked, could always depend on, that would not "break the bank" or make
mama have to pinch nickels at the grocery store.
We've made ourselves happy and now we're going to
make you happy. You can have the same reels that we use for less than half
of what a comparable brand would cost! Make yourself happy by fishing with
a Red Dot! Of course if you still want to spend big bucks for the same
quality reel, hey, it's your money! This will be the best bargain of
the year! You will be happy, we guarantee it! Mama will be happy too!
She'll have more money for groceries and household things. When mama's
happy, daddy gets to fish more!!!!
Buy a Red Dot
Product today! You'll have bragging rights and a great product that saved
you lot's of moolah!
